Open source Web authoring tool - NVU

NVU is an open source web authoring tool based on the old Netscape Navigator Composer component but flourishes to provide easiness like Frontpage and Dreamweaver. It aims at non-technical people who turns out to do a website of their own.

It is cross-platform and has versions for Windows, MacOS and GNU\linux.

Microsoft fixes Windows Metafile format vulnerability today

As Microsoft said that they would put out the patch of Windows Metafile format vulnerability on scheduled date 10 Jan 2006, they suddenly decide to put it out today. So you can patch your system now.

There will still be regular patch release on 10 Jan 2006 (the schedule is every second Tuesday per month) by Microsoft to fix other two vulnerabilities in Windows and Office which they count as 'critical'.
